From the beginning I have always found myself drawn to supporting the betterment of others. From my early days as a child I would emulate the practice of setting up shop to provide “treatments & potions” for the most special of friends. Through the years this theme proved to weave itself into all my experiences.

From my first career as a water life saving coach and water triage emergency response trainer, onwards throughout my clinical profession, supporting others was at the heart of my true calling.

So it seems only fitting to share the arch of my story through the lens of my professional pursuits. For in truth my life has revolved around this orbit and all the good things that emanate have emerged from this space as my centre. I share the threads of my story in good faith and with deep gratitude for they have led me to you.

Early on in my career I worked in the allied health field throughout Canada and Australia, after nearly a decade of assisting rehabilitative and therapeutic practices I decided to change paths and delve into the art & craft of the more feminine oriented and integrative fields of beauty, functional health and mind/body wellness.

After gaining international qualifications in beauty therapy, body massage and spa therapy I fell in love with the more natural and holistic practices presented and rooted throughout the ancient folk traditions. Oral traditions passed by generation from woman to child.

Led by my intuition and recognizing there was a strong need for manual practitioners to undergo formal education in order to provide safe, effective and qualified service offerings in the emerging cosmetic medical field, this insight led me to advance my education and training with one of the world's top cosmetic dermal science programs.

Upon completing an advanced diploma of dermal science in Perth Australia, lecturing at the AACDS branch in Chatswood Sydney and providing industry consulting on Cosmeceuticals during my time in Melbourne, I made the decision to move back to Canada, relocating to central Vancouver where I set up one of the city’s first Natural Cosmetic Medical Clinics.

Here I commenced post graduate studies in the field of Integrative Nutrition and became a Nutraceutical Consultant while I ran my full time clinic specializing in advanced skin diagnostics and strategic therapeutic formulation techniques. During this time I forked my practice into three branches of leading edge cosmetic dermal therapies.

By integrating the three principle applications of corneotherapy, transdermal nutrient therapy and collagen induction therapy, I innovated a three phase Dermal Restoration System™. Pioneering a world class advancement in the non-invasive sector of Regenerative Medicine within the field of Cosmetic Dermatology.

My innovation opened the door to meeting some of the most brilliant minds in my field while at the same time connecting with people and patients from all over the world.

Just as I was beginning to teach my non-invasive Dermal Rehabilitative System™ to allied health professionals while exploring options for patenting my innovative methodology a larger calling revealed itself, although I didn’t quite recognize it as such at the time. 

Succeeding seven years as a Dermal Therapy Clinician exploring boundaries and pushing the recess of this field, I then turned my attention back to my love for manual therapies. I was serendipitously rewarded by being introduced to a teacher from the ancient tradition of Medical Qigong and for a time underwent dictation of oral studies and meditative philosophies indoctrinating me into the applied practices of vibrational and energetic medicine.

This discipline was my first initiation back into the realm of the Wu Wei Path.

It was right around this time when I met my husband and with the prospect of starting our own family, it was a natural next step to enter the complimentary fields of Intuitive Plant Medicine + Vitalist Herbal Medicine and by extension the indigenous studies rooted throughout the living branches of Ayurveda, TCM and Western Herbal Traditions. 

This endeavour prompted me to hone my love for therapeutic formulation, medicine making and artisanal craft. This deep delve into the remembrance and refinement of my innate intuitive gifts, immersed in the mysterious world of Shamanistic Homeopathy and primordial earth based medicine, led to the development of Sprout Essences™ & Jadeite Elixirs™ my first product lines and the creation of White Wood Herbs, an Earth Medicine Company.

In keeping with my fascination of the Wu disciplines I began to explore the sister sciences of medical astrology, vedic yogic traditions and daoist medicine practices. Through these mediums I was further guided, called if you will by the inner Wu to study an ancient branch of Daoist Stone Medicine from the Jade Purity Lineage. Through this study, I found the spark that awoken in me a concept to develop an integrated system of modern therapy with roots in ancient medicine. I coined this new therapy Acu Point Stone Medicine™ . But there was yet another sister therapy to be woven into expression…

You see many years ago, upon a deeply shamanistic spiritual journey, I channelled a full body hands on healing system that was capable of eliciting miraculous results. I put the system to the test and began offering sessions with great success.

But because, at that time, I didn’t have a language to explain the scientific mechanisms behind the modality I decided to just shelve the idea for another day. Not knowing when this day would arrive… I was simultaneously catapulted hence fourth into a mastery level education pertaining to the deep mysteries of the Wu Wei Path.

To say that I know a little something about the Alchemical process of personal transformation is putting it somewhat mildly. Over the years my foundations were broken down into their basic building blocks and then reconstituted to form a new expression. Over and over again this phenomena transpired until a new level of personal autonomy was achieved. Unrelenting sidereal forces guided my hand and showed me how to fully let go and put my trust in the absolute wisdom behind the unseen realms of the great mystery unfolding.

A great remembering was underway.

I had returned to the origins of my primordial roots. I have come to intimately know these forces as the Great Mother Principle. It was no coincidence then, that it was during this time I too became a mother and was initiated into the next phase of my journey. Moving from maiden to mother. These years offered some of the deepest reflections and most challenging lessons of my life. They cultured me in a way that only the Great Mother could. I had gained mastery over the art of introspection and the ability to surf the neural crest waves of the primordial sea.

A few years later, a solution emerged and all the floating strings (theories) began to crystallize into a single form. With this new found clarity I was inspired once again to revisit my original vision and the spark of this initiatory idea propelled me to interweave the fabrics of my career into one integrated and wholistic system.

Through this medium I saw how I could begin to combine my expertise in manual therapies with my intuitive skill of sensing the internal ongoings within the inner terrain of the human body; and by aligning my passion for advances in stem cell therapy, embryonic science, acupuncture science, cranial sacral therapy and myofascial release I inevitably found the language that catalyzed the birth of a manual healing system that I coined Fascia Somatic Therapy™. 

The fruits of my life’s work combined with innate healing touch culminated in a complete manual therapy system capable of supporting the evolutionary wellness of mind / body / soul.
